Ministries
At Living Word Bible Church, we believe that serving others is an essential part of living out our faith and building unity. As a church family, we come together to support one another—sharing burdens, praying, visiting, and providing meals when needed. This spirit of service is woven into the fabric of our community, both within the church and beyond.
As a congregation that meets in a rented facility, we care for one another by setting up and cleaning up after our services on Sundays and Wednesdays. Each week, there are numerous ways to get involved, including greeting, hospitality, nursery care, ushering, music, and media.

We are also committed to serving our wider community. We host a summer soccer camp, volunteer regularly at a local food bank, and organize workdays to support a nearby camp.

Our ministry efforts focus on various age groups and demographics, with specific programs and opportunities for men, women, youth, and children to grow in their faith, serve others, and build meaningful relationships within our church family.

Children
Inspired by Luke 2:40, “Grow” reflects our desire for children to grow in wisdom, grace, and favor with God. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where children from birth through grade 5 can develop spiritually and have fun while learning about God’s love.
For children ages 0 to 3, we offer a nursery staffed by caring, qualified individuals who have passed thorough background checks. Children older than 3 are welcome to join the service with the congregation. For younger children who are not yet reading, we provide “busy bags” filled with coloring materials and age-appropriate activities to help keep them engaged while sitting with their parents. We also offer worksheets for older children, encouraging them to engage with the passage we are studying.
Our goal is to help children grow in their understanding of God’s Word and experience His love in a supportive, fun atmosphere.

Youth
Based on Luke 2:52, the name “Increase” reflects our desire for students to grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and others. Our mission is to support parents in teaching their children to know, love, obey, and serve God. We aim to create an environment where students can build strong relationships, grow spiritually, and have fun in a Christ-centered community.
On Wednesday nights, students from grades 1-12 gather with our adults from 7:00 to 8:00 pm for a time of fellowship, teaching, and worship. Afterward, they enjoy supervised play until 8:30 pm.
For grades 6-12, we also host monthly activities, alternating between fun outings and service opportunities, giving students a chance to connect and serve together. Whether through play, service, or study, our goal is for students to grow in their faith, while also supporting one another along the way.

Women
As women of faith, we are committed to spending time together in the Word, encouraging one another, praying for one another, and supporting one another’s needs. Our desire is to build a community where we can grow spiritually and strengthen one another’s walk with Christ.
We gather regularly for seasonal interactive Bible studies, where we dive into Scripture together, fostering meaningful discussion and personal application. These studies provide a space for connection, reflection, and growth as we explore God’s Word in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Beyond our Bible studies, you’ll find us doing life together—fellowshipping, serving our families, and reaching out to our community, all while living out the Gospel with grace.

Men
At Living Word, we believe that authentic, Christ-centered relationships are essential for spiritual growth. The men of our church are committed to growing together in faith, building lasting friendships, and encouraging one another to be better men, husbands, fathers, and leaders in our homes, in our church, and in our community.
We gather regularly for weekly fellowship breakfasts and seasonal Bible studies. These gatherings offer opportunities for connection, shared growth, and mutual encouragement as we strengthen our faith and support one another in our walk with Christ.

Seniors
At Living Word, our OASIS (Older Adults Sharing in Service) ministry is a vibrant community of older adults committed to supporting one another and serving the church. Whether in retirement or the empty-nester phase of life, OASIS members foster meaningful relationships through fellowship, activities, and service.
This season of life is an opportunity to deepen faith, make lasting connections, and serve the church in impactful ways. OASIS offers a variety of activities designed to promote togetherness, including monthly luncheons, group outings, and volunteer opportunities.
OASIS members are dedicated to encouraging one another, offering support, and playing an active role in the life of Living Word. Together, we continue to grow in faith and serve with joy.
