Plan Your Visit
We Can’t Wait to Welcome You!
We’d be thrilled to have you join us for a service! To help you feel right at home with our church family, we’ve put together answers to some common questions to guide you as you plan your visit.
When Do You Meet?
We meet on Sundays at 10:30 am.
Where Do You Meet?
We meet at 6420 Ocean Hwy E, Winnabow, NC 28479.
As you enter Town Creek District Park from US Hwy 17, the Community Building is on your left between the tennis courts and the basketball courts.
What Do I Wear?
Wear what is comfortable for you. Some people dress up; others wear jeans or shorts. Most of our folks wear business casual.
What About My Children?
We’re glad you’re bringing your children. We believe children are not just “the future of the church,” but part of our church family right now.
During the first part of the service – announcements, singing, and Scripture reading – children stay with their parents in the main room. Please don’t worry about noise or movement; both are expected and welcomed.
During our greeting time, parents or guardians may bring children ages 0 to 3 to the nursery. Children in that age group remain in the nursery through the rest of the service under the care of our trained volunteers, all of whom have passed background checks. We’ll be glad to help your child get settled so you can return to the service and listen to the sermon.
Children older than 3 remain in the service with their parents. We offer “busy bags” with simple activities for little ones who aren’t reading yet, and we provide worksheets to help older children follow along with the passage we’re studying.
What Are the Services Like?
Sunday Worship Services
We desire for our worship to be pleasing to the Lord and for our fellowship to be encouraging to one another.
We provide free coffee, doughnuts, and other refreshments. Our live music includes a blend of old and new songs. We sing, pray, read Scripture, and then spend time greeting one another. Our sermons are expository and usually verse by verse through a book of the Bible. The sermon usually lasts about 45 minutes. The entire service is about an hour and a half.
What Else Do You Do?
We observe Lord’s Supper together once a month, and we have baptism services once or twice a year, typically at the beach.
On the last Sunday of months with five Sundays, we enjoy a potluck fellowship meal together after the service.
Seasonal outreach activities such as workdays and soccer camps allow us to serve others in our community.
Short-term mission trips broaden our global perspective as we share the gospel and support missionaries in various nations.
